A kid who loved to read
When I was a kid, I loved to read. I remember reading Goosebumps and Redwall for fun, but reading in school was a drag. So I moved on to music. Even then, I still lingered around books, and ended up with an accidental English minor while getting my business degree.
I'm a builder
What I discovered is that I really just like to create. I make things. So, one day I decided I was going to write a book. And so, I did. And then wrote another. And another.
Why short, fun, free
When doing market research, I noticed the kids section seemed pretty lacking. Great series, but all long. I don't remember books being 400 pages when I was 10! So I decided to write fun, easy to read books for kids, and make them free for those that can't afford them.
I also think adult fiction is stuck. Too serious and too long. So, I hope to write fiction that I want to read that doesn't exist anymore. Shorter. Funnier. Stronger.
